1.Banganga Tank

Banganga Tank is one of the top tourist places of Mumbai. It is situated in Malabar Hill . It is an ancient water tank which is a part of Walkeshwar Temple complex. It is a rectangular pool surrounded by steps on all sides. In spite of being located near the Arabian Sea, water of the tank is sweet. It was built in 1127 AD by Laxman Prabhu a minister in the court of Silhara Dynasty, kings of Thane. Banganga Tank, the Walkeshwar Temple and Parshuram Temple belong to the Goud Saraswat Temple Trust. The nearest railway station to reach here is Charni Road.


2.Kamala Nehru Park

Kamala Nehru Park is situated at the top of the Malabar Hill. It is named after Kamala Nehru, wife of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The park which covers an area of about 4000 square feet is famous for a unique structure shaped like a shoe. This structure is called Old Woman's Shoe and is inspired by the nursery rhyme, 'There was an old woman who lived in a shoe'. Kamala Nehru Park is most commonly visited by children in Mumbai. BEST buses and taxis are available to reach here. Charni Road is the nearest railway station.



3. Haji Ali Dargah

The Haji Ali Dargah has been built on a set of rocks located 500 meters from the coast. It is a mosque and dargah (tomb) located on the coast of Worli. In 1431 the Dargah was constructed in memory of Sayyed Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. The approach road to the Dargah is dependent on the tides as the road gets submerged during high tide. On Thursdays and Fridays, the Dargah is visited by at least 40000 visitors. The nearest railway stations to reach here are Mumbai Central and Mahalaxmi.



4. Imperial Towers

The Imperial Towers located in Tardeo, South Mumbai are the tallest buildings in the country. The twin towers designed by renowned Mumbai Architect Hafeez Contractor are built on former slum land under slum redevelopment scheme. The project contains 2 BHK to 5 BHK residential apartments. It was developed by Shapoorji Paloonji. The nearest railway station to reach Imperial Towers is Mumbai Central.



5.Mount Mary Church

Mount Mary Church located in Bandra is a Roman Catholic Basilica. Lakhs of devotees visit this church annually. The church was built in 1760 and was renovated before 100 years. The festival of this Church called Bandra Fair is celebrated on first Sunday after 8 September, the birthday of Mother Mary. The festival is a celebration of one week and is visited by thousands of people from all religions. Many people believe that wishes of those people are fulfilled who sincerely pray at the Church. We can reach Mount Mary Church through buses and taxis. The nearest railway station is Bandra.
